Instructors are professional musicians from the region. Fee: 455 per semester fees will not be refunded to students who drop after the second week of the semester. The Applied Music Studies program offers students private lessons on piano and chamber music. Vocal and Instrumental Study: MUS 50 One 30-minute private lesson per week, non-credit, pass-fail grade. Strings (violin, viola, cello, double-bass): Heather Austin-Stone Applied Music (Non-Credit) No previous vocal or instrumental training required.Additionally, applied music lessons can be taken as elective credits for current students in other programs. Students enrolled in applied instrument and/or voice lessons have the opportunity to develop their skills with highly trained and accomplished faculty.
